So, what do you do?As evidenced by my resume, I have often answered this age-old question, “Whaddaya got?” With varying degrees of competence, I’ve filled roles at ad agencies, in community boardrooms and on Wall Street trading floors. But at my core, I’m a versatile copywriter and tech-savvy web content strategist. Create dense, technical content? Sure. Write pithy, headline-driven ads? Sounds fun. Proofread “adult” content? Sorry, that's where I draw the line. First priority for any hiring manager is to ensure a candidate can do the job. But it's also important to be selective about who you bring into the office. So, it’s understandable that people tend to hire people they already know. With this in mind, here’s my initial effort to become someone you know. Things I never say:
